Support us

Help keep our teams ready

Our responders give their time and their vehicles free. What they cannot cover is the insurance, training and equipment that let them do it safely. That is what donations pay for.

We receive no government funding

Not a penny. Everything we do is paid for by donations, by the events we are booked to work, and by the responders themselves.

What our volunteers pay for

Our responders turn out in their own 4x4 vehicles and often with their own equipment. They pay for the vehicle, the fuel to get to the callout and their own time. None of them are paid.

What the charity has to pay for

  • Insurance, so responders are covered when they are on task
  • Training, including First Aid and Traction Assistance
  • DBS checks for every responder
  • Radios and communications equipment
  • Mileage support, so cost does not decide who can turn out
  • Recovery equipment, lighting and safety kit

Ways to give

A one-off donation, a regular standing order, or support from your business. Regular giving is the most useful to us, because insurance and training are annual costs and we have to commit to them before we know what the year will bring.

If your organisation runs public events, booking us is another way to fund the charity, and you get a trained team on site for it.
