Access when routes are impassable
We move staff, volunteers and essential supplies through snow, flood water, mud and blocked roads so that services can keep running. Typical tasks are reaching cut-off addresses, rural sites and care visits.

Emergency Support
This is the work we do free, when a partner organisation calls. Councils, emergency services, care providers and community groups task us when roads are blocked, ground conditions defeat ordinary vehicles or extra capacity is needed quickly. We are not called out by the public. If you want to hire us for an event instead, that is a separate service and it is what funds this one.

Recovery, winching and traction assistance
We recover stuck and stranded vehicles, clear blocked routes and provide traction assistance on and off road. All recovery work is carried out by responders holding specialist Traction Assistance training.

Traffic, parking and marshalling
Marshals, vehicles and radios for events, road closures and incident scenes. We manage parking, control vehicle flow and keep access routes clear for emergency vehicles.

Crews, radios and coordination
We mobilise volunteers, vehicles and radio communications at short notice and work to the command structure of the agency in charge. Requests come to our volunteer coordination team and are tasked to available crews.
